I have a security system already.  Can Midwest Alarm Company monitor my system?        
Yes. Midwest Alarm can monitor your system regardless of brand or communications format.

                                         
Can I activate my system when I am home?
Yes. Your security system can be programmed to protect the perimeter, while disarming interior motion detectors. 

Who monitors my system?
Midwest Alarm. We own and operate the only UL Listed central station in the region. The central station located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has passed the rigorous UL certification process for 15 consecutive years.
                                                                                               

Do I own the equipment?
Unlike many of our major competitors, with Midwest Alarm Company you own the equipment.

I have pets. Can I still have a Midwest Alarm security system installed in my home?
Yes. Midwest Alarm systems can easily be configured to accommodate pets.

What happens when my alarm goes off?
When your alarm system goes into alarm, a signal is sent to our monitoring facility via telephone, cellular or internet.  One of our UL trained operators will handle your alarm according to UL procedures and your pre-determined instructions regarding who to contact.

Will my insurance company give me a discount on my homeowners' policy?
Probably. Since Midwest Alarm offers UL listed alarm monitoring, you will be eligible for the highest possible homeowners' insurance discounts.  Check with your insurance agent for details.
