Biometric

Biometric ID based access control solutions incorporate non transferable unique human characteristics to achieve maximum levels of security. Customers of Midwest Alarm often utilize biometric scanners to protect and restrict access to mission critical and highly sensitive locations, data, or information. Biometric applications can be and are not limited to: retinal scanners, fingerprint readers, and hand geometry readers.

Key Card

Credit card sized access cards can store multiple access authorizations and provide access or egress by swiping the card on a reader. Each reader stores all activity that can be accessed by system administrators. Monitor employees actions and reduce work place theft. Storage of building access can be audited and stored for legal purposes. Cards may also be integrated with employee management, visitor management, or other business and building software to provide a seamless solution. Cards can therefore serve for multiple functions.

Cloud Based

Scaling a business is hard. Scaling a business across numerous locations over the country or globe is even harder. Luckily, Midwest Alarm’s next generation of access control solutions can be integrated with the cloud to provide you the same access control accounts, audit information, reporting, and users across all of your locations. Users can travel between sites and use the same biometric or keycard information. Their usage information and data will be stored in the cloud and be accessible to management from anywhere through a secure online portal.
